Racially Offensive Halloween Costumes

When you’re trying to figure out a great costume idea for Halloween this year, don’t even consider the ones listed below.  These costumes are brutally racist and may offend someone on Halloween night.  Be sure to have a some boxing gloves in your truck when wearing these racially offensive Halloween costumes, because I guarantee you’ll get in a scuffle, or two.

If you’re looking for appropriate Halloween costume ideas for 2009, check out some of our great ideas from dead celebs to political figures.

Grape Worker

This costume could turn some heads this Halloween, it also can send a red flag and you may get assaulted depending on which city you’re in.  I’d probably look twice if I saw someone wearing this, you’d have to make this costume brutally obvious by carrying some grapes and a grape box around all night.

Terrorist

This costume could cause some problems on Halloween night, as most people are still sensitive about the 9-11 tragedy, and other terrorist attacks that have occurred in recent history.  A fake bomb strapped to your chest, and full beard are necessities to get your point across.

Who does this offend? All American’s, and people of Middle Eastern descent.

Slave in Chains

Imagine seeing someone dressed as a slave, with torn up clothes, and chains. I think you might get stabbed to death if you actually had the balls to wear this costume out this Halloween.  You have to paint your face and hands black, and buy some fake chains to get the full effect.

Sweat Shop Child

With the growing concern of child sweat shops and slave camps around the world, it wouldn’t be politically correct to dress your child up in sweat shop attire, with a pair of Michael Jordan shoes around their neck.

Who does this offend? Asians, Hispanics, and much more.

KKK

A heavily inappropriate Halloween costume with much history and controversy behind it, dressing as a KKK member is very offensive due to its meaning of white supremacy against all minorities, primarily African Americans.  A white KKK hat is all you really need to get a guaranteed black eye this Halloween.

White Trash

This Halloween costume could be offensive to a fellow trailer park white trash person, but I see this almost every Halloween, so maybe its not so bad?  Yellow teeth, tattoos, and horrendous hair are all mandatory necessities for this costume.

Gypsy

A popular Halloween costume among women who want to dress a little scandalous, which is pretty much every girl nowadays, Gypsies are stereotyped as being con-artists, beggars, and pickpockets.  Try wearing an outfit similar to the one below, and walk around the Halloween party picking people’s pockets and reading tarot cars.

American Indian

Considering the history of Native Americans, and the stealing of their land (we all know the story), this is highly offensive and politically incorrect. I mean there was a huge backlash against Native American mascots in sports, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you piss a couple people off when wearing this costume for Halloween.

There are a lot of party themes in the college scene that are white trash, needless to say they are mostly white people.

If white people dress as other white people does it count as racist? If so I have to stop making fun of myself, civil rights activists are going to yell at me.
