Funny Rap Music Video Parodies
With the recent influx of music video parodies and spoofs, it seemed like a good time to put together a list of my five favorite rap music video parodies of all time. These rap video remakes seem to be gaining quite a bit of attention online which has equated to larger and larger budgets for these video parodies. Some of the more recent videos, such as Lonely Island’s I’m on a Boat , seemed to have a much larger production budget than many real music videos I have seen on MTV. I have the feeling we will see many more music video spoofs hit the web in the next year or two as the following videos have seen quite a bit of viral video success.
Jeremiah – Half Birthday Sex
With the recent popularity of Jeremiah’s hit song Birthday Sex, how could I not include this remake on the list?
The Lonely Island – I’m On A Boat (ft. T-Pain)
While, technically not a parody of a specific artist or song, this video just had to make this list. Quite possibly the largest production budget ever spent on a rap music video… parody. For the five people on the Internet who haven’t seen this video yet, watch it now.
R. Kelly – Pee on You
This classic rap video spoof quite possibly set the stage for many of the recent parodies we have seen from sites such as College Humor. Dave Chappelle is definitely on point in this hilarious spoof of R. Kelly’s famous urination scandal.

How could I not include the remix?
Kanye West – Gay Fish
As the only animated music video on our list, this hilarious video spoof definitely had to piss off Kanye West. South Park always seems to take it to the next level when roasting celebrities, and this music video definitely shows why that is.
