Ask A Hot Chick: Orgasm Intensity

Some of my girlfriend’s orgasms seem better than others. Do women have orgasms that differ in levels of intensity? How long do orgasms last for women?

For women, no two orgasms are alike. There are several types of orgasms that can be achieved in different ways. The most common orgasms for women are the clitoral orgasm, vaginal orgasm, anal orgasm and breast orgasm. Each of these creates a different sensation when reached and every time they are reached, they feel a little bit different. The level of intensity of an orgasm comes from more than just the type of orgasm though. The psyche of the female, her mood and her health all play a role in the ability to achieve and the intensity of her orgasm.
These four most common types of orgasms for women are achieved by different levels of stimulation that create different levels of intensity in the orgasms. Clitoral orgasms are usually achieved from stimulation during penetrated sex or oral sex. They can also be achieved unexpectedly from movement or touch. Vaginal orgasms are achieved through penetrated sex and different types or oral sex like “fingering.” Anal orgasms can be achieved during anal sex or stimulation of the anus. Some women claim that anal orgasms are far more intense than vaginal and clitoral orgasms. Finally, women can have breast orgasms if the right stimulation is created on the breast or nipple.
The psyche of a female plays a big role in a woman’s ability to orgasm during intercourse. It can also affect the intensity of a woman’s orgasm. A woman who is more secure with her mind and her body feels more comfortable to relax and “let go” during sex. If a woman is constantly worrying about what her partner is thinking, then she won’t be able to focus on what feels good for her. Or if she is insecure about any of her physical features, then she will be thinking about or covering them up or wondering what he thinks about them during intercourse.
If a woman says she’s not in the mood, then she’s not in the mood. You may finish, but it’s likely she won’t because her mind is elsewhere. If you want to see her orgasm, asking her to do it when she says she’s “not in the mood” is not the time to see one.
Finally, a healthy and fit woman is more likely to reach more intense orgasms and orgasm more often. Women (and men) who stay physically fit have increased blood flow to the genitals during intercourse. Increased blood flow to the genitals can create more intense orgasms.
